I hadn't figured....



I used to watch a lot of figure skating. I watched so much that it would be impossible to find hyperbole that wouldn't be merely literally in describing it. Then, figure skating coverage tended toward slick media packages about skaters instead of skating. Slowly, I watched less and less and then...

But yesterday, I stumbled upon Improv-Ice, an engaging show during which major figure skaters perform pieces that they've choreographed in a few hours. And, if that weren't enough, Styxx performed and skaters skated to Styxx music. And it was amazing. And there was Johnny Weir and when he performed, I was reminded why I love figure skating so much.
